Karate Journey
I began training in Shotokan Karate around the age of 12, progressing to 2nd Kyu by 18. Like many, training paused as work and life took over, but I later returned — initially to support my son — and developed a deeper appreciation for karate through that journey.
Approximately 19 years combined training experience.

Karate Philosophy
Kihon, Kata and Kumite are inseparable — each supports and strengthens the others. True understanding comes from recognising how they connect.
What Karate Means to Me
Karate is a process of discovery — where lessons that once seemed unclear begin to make sense over time. Through consistent training, the pieces gradually come together.
