Strong fundamentals (Kihon) lead naturally into both Kata and Kumite, with all areas developing together through practice and application.

I value the practical side of karate — understanding application, what works, and why. Training is about testing, learning, and refining technique through experience.

Competition is not my primary reason for training; however:
• 3rd Place – Individual Kumite, JKA/WF Scottish Championships
• Member of Brothock A Team – 1st Place, 3-Man Team Kumite, JKA/WF Scottish Championships 2025
