Black Belt Legacy

Since 1985, every Dan grading undertaken through Brothock Shotokan Karate Club has been examined and awarded under internationally recognised accreditation, predominantly through the Japan Karate Association (JKA).

This register records, as accurately as possible, everyone who has achieved a Dan grade through the club over the past forty years.

Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the register is complete, we recognise that some early records may be incomplete.

If you identify an error or omission, or can help us enhance the register with additional information or historic photographs, we would be delighted to hear from you.
